Electric eLcamino

The eLcamino is the first independently installed Chevrolet Performance e-Crate powered restomod built by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. This unique project blends classic muscle car aesthetics with cutting-edge electric technology, and I aimed to capture that fusion through my lens. From the classic lines of the body to the innovative powertrain, my goal was to highlight both the nostalgia and the forward-thinking vision behind this build. It was thrilling to document a vehicle that represents a new chapter in automotive history, showcasing how traditional designs can evolve with modern advancements. On Hot Rod Power Tour 2022, I was tasked to produce a documentary of the eLcamino's 1000+ mile road trip in the southern USA to challenge what makes a hot rod, a ℎ𝑜𝑡 𝑟𝑜𝑑. This short documentary unfortunately never saw the light of day but embedded below is an unpublished cut of the project.
